Sept 8 to 27, Algonquin Room, Algonquin Park Visitor Centre
An ongoing Tom Thomson Project 2011 to Present
I have been researching the life and artwork of Canadian painter, Tom Thomson. Traveling in the wake of his canoe, I have been exploring his travels in Algonquin Park, locating painting sites and painting at these locations. From these experiences I have been creating a body of work I call "Two Canoes."
